Since 1996 we have been working with three villages in the lower Himalaya building schools, clinics, monasteries and hydro electric power schemes, as well as installing water pipes and cooking stoves in homes and supporting teachers with supplementary salaries.
Since 2005 we have been building a primary school near the village of Marangu on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and supporting the teachers there with supplementary salaries.
Since 1991 we have built sixteen schools, one children's home, one street kid rescue centre, one clinic, and supported thousands of underprivileged children through school from primary to university level. Our rescue centre supports 170 children every day with meals and activities.
Since 1991 we have been providing school adventures called Africamp for young people to come to Kenya, Tanzania or Nepal and work with our staff on projects and programmes that are fun and challenging and perfect for personal development.
We are an international charity working with disadvantaged children and communities in Kenya, Tanzania and Nepal. Our central objective is the relief of poverty and we fund programmes and projects dedicated to education, health and social welfare run by our partner NGOs.
We also offer opportunities for volunteers, schools and university groups to get involved in our work and help fundraise for the beneficiaries. We are registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under NIC100742 and our Trust was established in 2001.
